Materials

This three stranded garland is composed of chryscolla , and 22 karat gold. The center piece is a Chrysophase wreath of golden rice.

Brief description

The wreath’s legacy as an adornment of veneration entered the modern epoch through many a varied way. During the spring celebrations, a wreath was used to decorate the universal pillar, the Maypole. The image of sacred twigs and green foliage woven together and wrapped around a pole, represents the planets orbiting around the solar center. During Roman times wreaths were worn as a crown of merit.
