Brief description
The Butterfly is a liberated flower whose petals refuse to fall and instead take to the air. A Butterfly
cloud is really a heavenly floral bouquet. According to fossil records Butterflies appeared in the world
during the Cretaceous period around 130 million years ago. Flowering plants, following a parallel path
of evolution also made their debut during the same period.
The beauty and mystery of Butterflies have long charmed the mind of man. They provide rich
metaphors and analogies that phenomenally explain some of the deepest and most sacred
mysteries. They are primarily a symbol of life after death, of metamorphosis and transfiguration.
