Brief description
Golden Beryl is also known as ‘Heliodor’ which means ‘gifts from the Sun’. Emerald and Aquamarine
are also members of the illustrious Beryl family. Beryl grows into hexagonal crystals and thus
represents the first perfect number, six. The hexagonal six is a cosmic entity. The six days of
creation are the six stages of universal unfoldment. The sexogismic numeric system of Sumer-
Babylon is where the four, six hour periods of a day, the sixty seconds in a minute and sixty minutes
in an hour were originally derived. Because of this relation to the natural division of time and the fact
that the three hundred and sixty degrees of a circle can be divided precisely into six sixty degrees
sections, the number six was immensely important to ancient astronomers. |
